Generic SSL IMAP / SMTP Client Configuration

To get your mailreader set up to send messages via SSL SMTP and receive mail via SSL IMAP through Neomailbox, here's what you need to set in your mailreader configuration:

Outgoing Mail Configuration

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: neomailbox.com (if your account is hosted in Switzerland, use neomailbox.net instead)

SSL SMTP Port: 465

SMTP authentication: Choose MD5 or password authentication. In MS Outlook / Outlook Express, do NOT enable Secure Password Authentication (SPA).

SMTP username and password: Use your neomailbox username and the SMTP password you set when you created your neomailbox account.

Enable SSL for SMTP. If you have to select between "STARTTLS" and "Alternate Port" methods, use "Alternate Port".

Troubleshooting
If you have trouble sending mail:

1. Ensure that you've set the SMTP username and password in your mail program
2. Try with the SMTP port set to 125

Incoming Mail Configuration

Server Type: IMAP

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: neomailbox.com (if your account is hosted in Switzerland, use neomailbox.net instead)
