NL Accounts Update

This is an important update to let you know that we are migrating all Netherlands hosted Neomailbox accounts to Switzerland.

The switch will occur on 22nd March 2010. All services will continue to operate the same as before, and no configuration changes will be required.

The reason for the move to Switzerland is that the Netherlands is part of the EU, and therefore bound by the EU data retention directive, which requires Internet service providers to keep records of their users' Internet activity.

Being a privacy oriented service provider, Neomailbox will not be complicit in such a violation of customers' privacy.

The legal framework in Switzerland, which is independent of the EU, is one of the most privacy oriented in the world, and we are very excited to be able to offer our full range of services hosted in Switzerland.
